This job was a new extension on an old Queenslander. The original house a mix of hoop pine, Brushbox, Jarrah and Tallow. The new extension had a Victorian Ash. To tie the house together I suggested using a stain in black to make it a uniform colour while still being able to keep the feature of the timber itself.
