ATFA Industry Licensed Contractors 

The Australasian Timber Flooring Association (ATFA) has introduced its own industry-based licensing system to further improve the quality of workmanship and professionalism within the timber flooring industry. This is not a Government system, it is managed and controlled by the industry via ATFA. 

To this end, contractors must comply with ATFA’s rigorous criteria to meet this standard of compliance. Only ATFA member contractors can demonstrate they are ATFA Industry Licensed by presenting their ATFA electronic member card. Alternatively, please phone ATFA on 1300 36 1693 to check. 

Under this industry licensing system, member contractors will need to ensure a high standard of workmanship and professionalism, plus agree to cooperate with ATFA inspectors should they be called to site. Failure to uphold the principles of ATFA Industry Licensing status will result in the member having their licensed status revoked.
